Already 25 years ago, the drive for progress and the unstoppable climate change prompted us to seek higher altitudes. Rising temperatures have not only caused glaciers to slowly but surely disappear, but have also drastically changed the valley’s winemaking conditions.

Desert-like temperatures and minimal thermal variation between day and night have drawn us closer to our beloved peaks, where the climate is similar to what we had in the valley a hundred years ago.

Unspoiled nature, zero pollution, intense light with no atmospheric interference and consequently, plenty of sunlight whose rays reach the grape clusters at the perfect angle.

This kind of heroic viticulture is sometimes challenging, but what we manage to produce at these altitudes is so rewarding that we won’t stop — the peaks are there, waiting for our vines.
